Let's talk lube!

Lube is by far the MOST important aid in anal training.  So if you want to follow along with me, I suggest you stock up.  The need for lube is more important with anal play than with any other type of stimulation.  Why’s that?  Butt’s don’t self lubricate!  Combine that with the fact that the rectum is made up of some of the most delicate tissue; you do not want to go poking and prodding around without it.

So there are three major types of lube:  Water based, Silicone and Oil.  I am going to give you the pros and cons of each.

Water Based Lube:

Water based lube is one of the most common lubricants out there.  It is relatively cheap (by volume) and is by far the easiest to clean up, and can be reactivated with water or saliva!  Easily found in drug store and adult emporiums alike.  Water based lube comes in 2 major variations:

Glycerin-based:  Glycerin is a cheap ingredient that is added to lubricants to make them stretch a lot further.  This makes them less expensive to produce, which isn’t always reflected in the retail price.  Glycerin gives the lube a slightly sweet taste, but unfortunately it also makes it sticky.  This is because, with friction, the glycerin breaks down in to sugar (particularly problematic for women as it can trigger yeast infections).  Another down side is that it dries up extremely quickly.  This doesn’t tend to be the best bargain for the buck, but can be found gracing the aisles of your local supermarket, pharmacy or discount store.

Glycerin-free:  This lubricant is much like its glycerin-filled friend but has some added benefits.  Basically if you like the sloshy, slippery feel of water based lube, but you don’t want it to get sticky, or dry up, in the midst of your ass-plorations…  This is the way to go.  It doesn’t taste so nice, but its longevity makes up for that!

My Pick:  Maximus, closely followed by Liquid Silk

Silicone:

Silicone lube is pretty phenomenal stuff.  Super slick, water proof (you know you want to take it in the shower!), and incredibly long lasting.  You do not want to use it with silicone toys as they will bond together, but perfect for glass, steel, wood or condoms!  A little goes a long way too.  And it retains  temperature so you can warm it up or cool it down.  The downside of silicone is that it requires soap and water clean-up and can stain fabric such as sheets, or that gorgeous satin nightie…  Also, it has a more similar consistency to baby oil, so slick, but not “wet”.

My Pick:  Gun Oil

Oil:

Oil based lubricants are a bit tricky.  They perforate latex within 60 seconds of coming in contact with it, so don’t use with latex toys or condoms.   It does last FOREVER though, and can be found all around the house…  Crisco, anyone?    Basically if it is an oil, meant for human consumption, it is safe to go where the sun doesn’t shine (except in ladies, big no no).  It will stain the sheets like silicone and require soap and water clean-up, but it does retain heat so you can warm it up.

My Pick:  Crisco

And my favorite lube accessory is the Lube shooter.  So ingenious!  Makes getting the lube INTO your ass a cinch!  Although, a hot stainless syringe works just as well!

Lube will aid with the insertion of all those dirty toys, and huge cocks you have been fantasizing about, as well as turn an everyday ass fingering from ordinary to extraordinary.  I don’t leave home without it. Seriously.  Never, ever!

Sincerely,

Your anal trainer, Mistress Lisa
